Dear Ouachita Parish Public Library Customer,
On June 1st the Trail Blazer Library System, of which Ouachita Parish Public Library is a member, will be launching a new eBook and eAudiobook collection platform for your digital materials. Our current system, OverDrive, will be turning off on June 1st, 2018. Titles from the OverDrive collection will be moving to the cloudLibraryTM on May 31st, 2018.
The cloudLibrary will offer patrons an enhanced user experience that makes it easier to download eBooks and e-Audiobooks. In addition, the Trail Blazer Library System cloudLibrary provides you with an App that highlights the best and freshest titles in our collection, and also allows for patron customization within browsing section of the apps. The new TBS cloudLibrary will allow us to purchase more titles and more copies. We will also be partnering with other libraries in Louisiana which will bring us more available content and greatly expand our collection and reducing hold times!
Below are some important dates for you to know, a list of Questions & Answers, and other helpful information. Information will also be posted on the Library’s website: www.oplib.org
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to give us a call at any branch.
