NELCHA is a homeschooling support group and co-op for Christian families in Northeast Louisiana which is a non-profit corporation registered in the state of Louisiana.

Northeast Louisiana Homeschool Christian Association Co-op
NELCHA Co-op is a sub-group of the Northeast Louisiana Homeschool Christian Association. The Co-op meets in Monroe, West Monroe, and Farmerville. Parents share homeschooling concepts, special skills and talents, and various curriculum as they teach the students at co-op.

BESE Approved Home Study Program Guidelines and Instructions

LDE Home Study Program Application  
This link directs parents who want to begin or continue to homeschool to the Louisiana Department of Education's home study application. This system will allow families to easily complete and submit applications online, as well as receive automatic e-mails once the Department both receives and approves the application.

Compete LA is a program designed to help those who did not complete college return to finish a degree plan. The program includes a variety of online degree programs and other convenient class structures designed for Louisianians with some college credit.

Louisiana Delta Community College
Louisiana Delta Community College is an open-admissions college with campuses in Monroe and surrounding areas. LDCC offers courses for students seeking an associate’s degree, a technical certification, or high school equivalency credential through the HiSET program. Associate degree credits earned through LDCC are able to transfer to any Louisiana state college. LDCC offers dual enrollment courses that allow high school students to earn college credit.
