LaCHIP
The Louisiana Children’s Health Insurance Program (LaCHIP) provides health coverage to uninsured children up to age 19. It is a no-cost health program that pays for hospital care, doctor visits, prescription drugs, shots and more.

Louisiana Medicaid, Healthy Louisiana
Medicaid provides medical benefits to low-income individuals and families. This site allows users to apply for and renew Medicaid benefits, as well as get referrals to Medicaid healthcare providers.

Medicare
The official site of Medicare allows users to sign up, customize their plans, and get information on supplemental insurance.

CDC offers information and guidance on a wide range of health issues including emerging diseases, immunizations, and emergency preparedness.

Louisiana Department of Health
The Louisiana Department of Health is the overall health authority for the State of Louisiana. LDH services include vital records, water regulation and inspection, nursing home quality, behavioral health services, developmentally disabilities, and public health. LDH divides the state into 10 regions; Monroe is in Region 8. The local authority is the Northeast Delta Human Services Authority.

1-800-273-8255 The Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals.

Northeast Delta Human Services Authority
The NDHSA, Northeast Louisiana Behavioral Health Services provides behavioral health and development disability services to the residents of Ouachita and surrounding parishes.

ULM Marriage & Family Therapy Clinic
Individual, group, and family services are provided to persons of all ages and cultures. The clinic provides services for those with personal, career, school, relational, addictions, grief and loss, parent/child difficulties, infidelity, issues related to divorce, sexual problems, difficulties with anger, hostility, or violence, individuals who have been diagnosed with a mental disorder (such as mood, anxiety, personality, behavioral, and sleep disorders), and other concerns. Services of the Marriage & Family Therapy and Counseling Clinic are available to the public at a maximum fee of $25.00. Military veterans as well as ULM faculty, staff, and students may use the clinic at no cost.

ULM Asbestos and Mold Analysis Laboratory
Our professional staff has experience in Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Health and Safety, air monitoring, environmental pollution, and expertise in a wide range of toxicological issues.

ULM Dental Hygiene Clinic
Low-cost dental clinic through the ULM Dental Hygiene Department.

ULM Environmental Analysis Laboratory
This ULM lab has experience in the analytical testing field, and can assist clients in proper collection techniques, supply sample containers, and test samples in an accurate and timely manner.

ULM Kitty DeGree Speech and Hearing Clinic
The University of Louisiana Monroe Speech and Hearing Clinic evaluates and treats individuals of all ages who experience communication problems. Clients may be self-referred or referred by physicians, family members, allied health professionals, or hospital/school personnel.
