This year, the Library is excited to present the Winter Reading Challenge! The theme, Cozy Up with a Good Book, celebrates how books can provide comfort while simultaneously taking you out of your comfort zone. The Challenge allows you to play bingo by reading and completing simple activities! From January 1st through January 31st, you can track your progress in the Beanstack reading portal at oplib.beanstack.org. By doing so, you can earn fun, cozy badges for logging the pages you read, completing activities, and achieving bingo.

Earn the "Bingo!" badge by earning five badges in a row, in any direction, on your virtual bingo card to be automatically entered into the grand prize drawing. One winner will be chosen from each age group: children ages 0-5, children ages 5-12, teens ages 13-18, and adults 19 and older.

 

Kids ages 0-5: Have a cozy game night with the Outfoxed! detective game, and snuggle up with a weighted, warmable fox plush!

Kids ages 6-12: Have a cozy game night with the exciting Throw, Throw, Burrito game and wrap yourself up like a burrito with a tortilla blanket.

 

     

Teens ages 13-18: Have a cozy game night with the hilarious Poetry for Neanderthals game and enjoy fresh warm popcorn with an electric popcorn maker.

 

      

Adults ages 19 and up: Have a cozy game night with a special edition of Scrabble that will look great on your bookshelf and enjoy that new book smell anytime with a scented soy candle.
